About Eagles Nest

The Urbanisation was built in three phases with the first building works started in 1987. There are some photos of the early works and villas which were built and these can be viewed in the photo gallery under “Urbanisation at the beginning”.

If you have any photos which you would like included here, please follow the instructions on that page of how to send them.

The Urbanisation was adopted by the Town Hall of San Miguel de Salinas in May of 1996 but the Community of Owners were unaware of this fact until 19th September 2008, after the owners had needlessly paid for new sewer pipes, new water pipes, street lighting around the Urbanisation and had all roads surfaced with asphalt. The Urbanisation is overseen by Community of Owners or Comunidad de Propietarios – made up of an elected committee of owners, which meet monthly.

Incorporated under their umbrella is the first Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in San Miguel de Salinas, which operates with the full support of the Local Police and Town Hall. In fact the scheme is a model for co-operation and at a recent meeting with the San Miguel Guardia Civil chief and chief of the Policia Local, they both agreed and acknowledged the good work done by the scheme. Our continued liaison with the Town Hall has led the urbanization to achieve improvements through a greater dialogue with the Town Hall.

Cheers Bar and Restaurant” is the central focal point of the Urbanisation and is also the home of the San Miguel Bowls Club. The Town Hall is now responsible for the overall maintenance of the Urbanisation and the Committee of the Community of Owners are in constant contact with the Town Hall.
